In Advent we wait.
We wait for a baby who’ll grow into a man.
We wait for the messages he’ll teach,
for the hope he’ll provide,
for the peace he’ll offer.
In Advent we wait in hope, for the hope that only he can bring.

The Adventists are waiting for the Second Coming. Never understood that even with scripture. If we absorb the presence of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, isn’t He in our midst already all the time?
